CMMI Complaints and Corrective Action Appeals Policy

The “CMMI® Quality – Complaints and Corrective Action Appeals Policy,” effective from March 6, 2023, outlines the procedures for handling complaints and appeals within the CMMI framework. It applies to CMMI Partners, Practitioners, Registered Interpreters, and Appraisal Sponsors. The policy ensures a fair and transparent process, detailing roles and definitions, timelines for submitting complaints and appeals, conducting preliminary investigations, and finalizing corrective actions. It emphasizes confidentiality and managing conflicts of interest, while also providing flexibility for time extensions and accommodations due to global diversity and extenuating circumstances. The policy is designed to maintain the integrity of CMMI standards by ensuring all complaints and appeals are handled systematically and fairly.
